Her surviving family members include her daughter Gwendolyn (Brian) Roney sisters Marlene Erxleben and Lynne (Michael) Just and nephew Clinton Thornton. But above all else, she truly relished spending time with loved ones and playing euchre.ĭianne leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories that those closest to her will forever cherish. Dianne authored a book called “A Slice of Time” and volunteered for Civitans and other social groups. She was also a level III Reiki master and a longtime member of the Lighthouse Center in Whitmore Lake. While a majority of her career was spent teaching, Dianne also worked as a pharmaceutical and insurance sales representative. Mary's Catholic Central High School in Monroe, Michigan, with an abundance of love and admiration from her colleagues and students. After graduating, she devoted herself to making a difference in her community by teaching youth at various schools in Allen Park, Belleville and St. She graduated from Livonia Bentley High School in 1963 and Eastern Michigan University in 1967, where she eventually earned her Master's Degree in 1971. She was born on April 24th, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late William Paul and Frances Lenore (nee' Mosser) Erxleben.ĭianne will always be remembered as an outstanding teacher who impacted countless students with her boundless dedication to education. Griswold, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on May 13th, 2023 in Plymouth, Michigan.
